Gao Baoli, the original ecological singer and tenor, was born in a peasant family in Lingqiu County, Shanxi Province in September 1976. Later, due to his poverty, he entered the Luoluo Opera Troupe of Lingqiu County to study. To pursue his musical dream, Gao Baoli resigned from the troupe, bid farewell to his stable job in his hometown, and went to Beijing to work hard. In 2005, with an original song “Looking up to Pingxingguan”, Gao Baoli began to receive widespread attention. Since then, he has continuously participated in CCTV’s “Avenue of Stars”, “Roots of China” Shanxi folk song boutique concert, “Guangyao Taihang” Shanxi Folk song concerts, the 4th China National Culture Expo, Beijing New Year Concert and other important programs and performances.

In 2006, Gao Baoli was accepted as a closed disciple by the famous singer Wang Kun, who is also known as “Bole”. In the same year, he won the only solo excellence award for Han singers in the 12th National Young Singer TV Contest. In 2008, Gao Baoli won the bronze medal in the national finals of the 13th National Young Singer TV Grand Prix. He was the first Han singer to win this honor in the original singing style of the previous youth singing competitions.

Gao Baoli’s singing is bright and rough, loud and clear.
