The early termination of daily service for the first phase of Singapore’s Thomson-East Coast Metro Line will be extended to November 1 this year.
In order to free up more time for system testing, SMRT prepares for the second phase of the Thomson-East Coast Metro Line. From July 20th to August 30th, the service will end early at 9pm every day ; The departure time of the first train on Saturday and Sunday is also delayed to 6:30 in the morning.
SMRT issued a statement this morning saying that in order to continue testing the system, the company decided to extend the relevant measures to November 1.
