Malaysia Airlines sold small peanut gift boxes on the cabin on the Internet, creating a rush to buy them, and they were sold out within two hours of launch.
The Covid-19 and the movement control order implemented by Malaysia have prevented many Malaysians from travelling abroad, and of course they cannot eat the delicious peanuts distributed by Malaysian flights. Malaysia Airlines had an idea to allow consumers to enjoy this small package of salted peanuts without flying.
“China Press” reported that Malaysia Airlines posted on Facebook yesterday (4th) that the price of each peanut gift box was 15 ringgits (about 5 SGD), containing 10 packs of peanuts, and delivery service was provided.
After the posts were uploaded, netizens clicked “Like” and left messages. A netizen said: “I don’t know what you put in it, but my father likes it very much. He often asks us to book Malaysia Airlines tickets and bring him peanuts.”
Another netizen said: “Once, because it was so delicious, I asked the flight attendant to give me an extra pack of peanuts. She gave me a lot of packs, which made me flattered and in my heart.”
