Hadi Awang, chairman of the Islamic Party, revealed that he was too tired to ensure a smooth transfer of power during the “Sheraton Coup” at the end of February and he was almost hospitalized.
He directly participated in the seizure of power yesterday. In an interview with the Malaysian Gazette, he described this as the most memorable event in his 56-year political career.
“I and other political leaders did their best in this matter, so that I couldn’t sleep and was persuaded to be admitted to the hospital twice.”
