Marriott International Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel operator, is facing a class action lawsuit initiated by millions of former hotel guests in London for a large-scale leak of customer data. These guests demanded the Marriott Group to compensate them for the loss of personal data.
According to reports, from 2014 to 2018, more than 300 million customer records in the Marriott Group’s global database, passport and credit card information may be leaked, which is one of the largest data breaches so far.
