According to local media reports, the island of Evia in eastern Greece was hit by a strong storm from the evening of the 8th to the early morning of the 9th. At least 7 people have been killed, including a couple in their 80s and an 8-month-old baby. Another resident is missing. The parents of the baby who died were tourists visiting the local area for vacation. The island of Evia is about 70 kilometers away from Athens and is the second largest island in Greece.
