Disorder at Kabul Airport causes several deaths, U.S. military suspends evacuation

US Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said on August 16 that the military has suspended all evacuation operations due to the current chaos at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas admitted on the same day that Germany and related countries misjudged the situation in Afghanistan. The Associated Press released a video from Kabul Airport on the 16th, showing that when a US military plane was about to take off, many Afghans ran and chased, and some even climbed the plane from outside.

Afghan Immigration TV reported that the chaos at Kabul Airport lasted from the evening of the 15th to the 16th, and at least 10 people were killed, including some who fell from a U.S. military plane that took off.
