According to “Financial Graffiti”, ByteDance completed its acquisition of rare earth nuggets in the technology sharing community a few months ago. Rare earth nuggets are already the fourth start-up company acquired by Bytedance this year and are distributed in many different fields.
Prior to this, ByteDance successively acquired wholly-owned medical science knowledge platform Baike Mingyi.com, container platform Caiyun Technology, and mathematical thinking education products in 2020.
Rare earth nuggets is a vertical version of “Zhihu” focusing on the technical field. A person close to the “rare earth nuggets” revealed that “this transaction was all negotiated in the first half of this year, and after the merger was incorporated into ByteDance, Moon Shadow was also responsible for operations.”
