An outbreak of bird flu in a kibbutz in northern Israel is the H5N8 virus

On the morning of the 14th, local time, the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture announced that avian influenza had recently broken out in chicken flocks in Ma’anit Kibbutz. The Ministry of Agriculture has closed the chicken coops where the avian flu has occurred and has imposed restrictions on nearby farms.

The test results showed that the avian influenza that broke out in chickens was the H5N8 virus, which can invade many types of chickens, but there is no evidence that this avian influenza virus can infect humans.
