After conducting a review based on the Energy Market Authority’s guidelines, Singapore New Energy Group raised its electricity bills for each kilowatt hour from October 1 to December 31 by an average of 1.83 cents. This is mainly because of rising energy costs.

Among them, the cost of household appliances increased from 19.6 cents per kilowatt hour to 21.43 cents. Take a four-room HDB family as an example. Their average monthly electricity bill will be seven yuan a cent more than the previous quarter.
