The wife of former Malaysian Prime Minister Rosmah spends RM100,000 a month to hire an online navy

The former assistant to the wife of the former Malaysian Prime Minister Datin Sri Rosmah, Datuk Ri Zamansu, pointed out that Rosmah spends RM100,000 a month to hire an online navy to “clean up” her negative image online. In his testimony at the Kuala Lumpur High Court regarding Rosmah’s solar fraud involving schools in the suburbs of Sarawak today, he said that Rosmah is an image-conscious person and spends RM100,000 a month to hire an online navy to eliminate negative images.

He said that in 2012 he set up the Cyber Army under Rosmah’s instructions. This cyber navy led by him is mainly to monitor social media content that criticizes or gives a negative image to Rosmah. Riza also said that Rosmah attaches great importance to her image, impression and popularity as the prime minister’s wife.

“She often wants to get media coverage for her own events.” Before that, Rosmah had asked the court to prohibit the media from reporting on Riza’s testimony in court, but the judge Mohd Zaini refused.
