Malaysian MOH: When returning to Malaysia for commuting arrangements, you can still be isolated at home. This policy no change!

Those who return to Malaysia through Singapore and Malaysia’s gradual commuting arrangements can still be isolated at home.

Malaysia’s “China Daily” quoted Malaysian Health Minister Aham Baba say that there is no U-turn in Malaysia’s policy; he said that he only stated at a press conference that a man who had returned to Malaysia through commuting arrangements was diagnosed with Covid-19.

Malaysian “The Star” quoted Ahan Baba this afternoon as saying that the authorities no longer allow those who return home through periodic commuting arrangements to be isolated at home, but must go to a hotel for isolation.

Singapore and Malaysia implemented periodic commuting arrangements and reciprocal green channels, more than 3,000 Malaysians have returned to Malaysia through such arrangements.
