WhatsApp reveals six fixed security vulnerabilities, said not to be exploited by hackers

Facebook’s WhatsApp disclosed six vulnerabilities that have been fixed. WhatsApp said that there is no evidence that these vulnerabilities have been exploited by hackers.

Currently, WhatsApp has 2 billion users around the world. In response to security vulnerabilities, WhatsApp has a dedicated setting for tracking security vulnerabilities in its community. WhatsApp stated that one-third of new vulnerabilities were obtained through the security breach reward program.

In response to security issues, Facebook also said that it has formulated a vulnerability disclosure policy.
