U.S. Department of Justice may file an antitrust lawsuit against Google

According to two people familiar with the investigation, the US Department of Justice, which has been conducting antitrust investigations against Google, plans to initiate a lawsuit against Google earlier this month. It is said that the focus of the investigation is still on Google’s search and advertising business. Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen (Jeff Rosen) said last month that the Justice Department is “going all out” to advance investigations into Google and other large technology company platforms.

People familiar with the matter said that the lawsuit originally planned to be filed around Labor Day in the United States (the first Monday of September) is still expected to be filed this month, but it may also be postponed to mid-October, and it is likely to be concentrated on Two allegations.
