Amazon’s consumer business CEO will retire next year and was the successor to Bezos

Amazon announced that Jeff Wilke, CEO of the company’s global consumer business, will retire in 2021 and be succeeded by Dave Clark, the company’s senior vice president of retail.

In response, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said in a memo, “Since Wilk joined the company, he has been my mentor, and I feel lucky for this. He left behind for the company. Wealth will have a long-term impact on the company. He is such a person: Without him, Amazon would be completely different.”
