Former Malaysian President Najib appealed the conviction the day before yesterday (28th).
Najib lawyer confirmed that apart from being dissatisfied with the verdict, Najib also appealed the judge’s decision.
Kuala Lumpur High Court ruled that Najib was accused of misappropriating SRC International’s 42 million ringgit funds, all of which were established. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and a fine of 210 million ringgit.
