Arrested 617 people, 313 of them participated in bars and nightclubs

The senior minister of the Ministry of Defense of Malaysia, the police arrested a total of 617 people who violated the “Resumption of Movement Control Order” yesterday, of which 313 were involved in the activities of bars and nightclubs. He issued a statement today saying that of the 617 people who violated the restoration order, 597 were fined and the remaining 20 were detained for delay.

In addition, he said that a task force led by the police supervised 61,715 routine inspections yesterday to supervise disease control orders. A total of 2736 supervision teams participated in yesterday’s supervision work, involving 11,520 people. personnel. Yesterday, 4238 supermarkets, 5903 restaurants, 1999 stalls, 1,225 factories, 3634 banks and 682 government agencies were inspected.

He said: “Members of the task force also inspected 125 land transport terminals, 22 water transport terminals and 88 air terminals.

He also said that the police set up 67 roadblocks in “Fortress Operation” yesterday and checked 34,224 vehicles to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country. Yesterday, they also successfully arrested 15 foreigners who committed crimes by the immigration bureau. The government will take decisive action against anyone who attempts to enter the country illegally; law enforcement agencies will continue to strengthen border controls.
