Singapore’s Minister of Health said: Singaporeans cannot visit Malaysia yet

Although Singapore and Malaysia are discussing how to make each other’s people safe in and out, Minister of Health reminded Singaporeans who want to play in Malaysia should continue to wait.

He said at a press conference of the Inter-governmental Anti-epidemic Working Group: “Many Malaysians are considering taking a weekend holiday, and Malaysians also want to come and play, but I don’t think this should be too fast.”

The Minister said that even if the daily commuting arrangements are negotiated, the conditions will be very strict and will only be open to necessary service personnel who need to travel between Singapore and Malaysia every day.
